CL – Celebrating 150 Years of Brewing
15/05/24"CL" is the Roman numeral for 150, making it a fitting name for a beer celebrating 150 years of brewing. CL is crafted from a recipe inspired by letters written by George Bateman in the 1890s.

Rewarding Success Awards
08/05/24The Rewarding Success Awards recently took place at the brewery. The standards in all categories were exceptional this year, which is fitting for our 150th anniversary.
New Brewing Equipment Arrives
01/05/24New brewing equipment arrived at the brewery on 30th April and needed to be lifted into place. A large crane was brought in to install the new Hot Liquor Tank and the two new chiller units.

St. George’s Glory – English legend
20/03/24This year, St George’s Day falls on Tuesday (23rd April - obviously), and in keeping with Batemans' long-standing tradition of producing seasonally relevant beers, we will once again be brewing St George’s Glory.
