Session Pale Ale
Here at Batemans we're on a grand tour of the great hop growing countries of the world. Before the advent of modern craft brewing, a sessionable beer was simply a beer with a lower alcohol content, brewed to quench a thirst and to be consumed in volume. USA craft brewers defined themselves primarily with signature strong IPAs for savouring, however they needed a thirst quenching beer for their taprooms. These became their Session Pale Ales. Named after the Slavic word for 'Wolf' this golden Session Pale Ale has a blend of subtle spice, bold citrus and stone fruit from Wolf, Bobek and Eagle hops grown in the famed Styrian region of Slovenia.
