CL is brewed to a recipe created using the letters written by George Bateman in the 1890's. Historical English Pale Ale, based on a recipe from the Batemans archive. Definitively malt forward and perfectly balanced, brewed using Chevallier malt and the classic blend of authentic English Fuggles and Goldings hops.
